Not what I expected...
1 December 2020
'Largo Winch' is not entirely what I expected. It contains significantly less action than I was hoping for, and a lot of business talk.

Tomer Sisley stars as Largo Winch, the reluctant heir to a multi billion dollar company. With the film constantly jumping backwards and forward in time, you have to follow carefully. Each time, more crucial information is revealed. This is more of a mystery drama than an action movie, although there are moments where the film has a James Bond feel to it. I loved some of the exotic locations.

I found the film a bit slow moving and not always interesting. There are many twists. The third act gets very involved - maybe too much. It is complicated with twist upon twist, and so many backstabbers that you easily loose track of who the actual antagonist is. Largo Winch also wasn't the hero he ought to have been, and not always likable. This is just an average mystery thriller, with some action sequences scattered throughout.
