Filthy Rich (2020)
6/10
I would not classify it as an epic TV series...but it certainly is entertaining

Great writing. If I had to sum this TV series up in two words then yes, those two words would be "great writing". It is an original story line about a televangelist named Eugene Monreaux (played by the versatile and veteran actor Gerald McRaney) who has slipped from his own conservative religious beliefs now and then and along the way he fathers a few illegitimate children years ago. When he takes a flight out of town to join the "mile high club" his plane crashes and his whereabouts are believed to be deceased so out of the woodwork comes his three illegitimate children from different states and backgrounds to compete with his other two know children for their fair share of his financial empire.

Eugene's wife and now widow Margaret Monreaux (Kim Cattrall) loved her cheating husband Eugene, but as they say in show business "the show must go on". Some may say this is a dysfunctional family and not worth your time watching, but let he who has no family drama be the first to say they don't find this show entertaining and I will say that (wo)man needs to find some serious healing.

It is a fun watch, maybe not Emmy worthy, but still better than a lot of the crap that keeps being renewed year after year such as all those hospital and cop shows and they don't win Emmy's either.

I give it a 6 out of 10 IMDB rating.
