Wolfwalkers is a 2020 Irish animated film and tells the story of an english hunter(Sean Bean) and his daughter Robyn (Honor Kneafsey from A Christmas Prince) who traveled to Kilkenny in Ireland from England and they are set to kill the last of the wolf pack as they are wolfwalkers. However Robyn befriends a young girl named Maeve(Eva Whittaker)who transforms into a wolf and bites Robyn who also turns into a wolf. Will Robyn protect Maeve and her clan?. The animation is gorgeous, the story is very good and the story was also very good even though we have seen this type of story before e.g. Pocahontas,Brave,How To Train Your Dragon.
Overall I loved this film as I have a friend who begged me to see this film and I finally got to see it before it was released in December.
If you love Brave and How To Train Your Dragon then you are gonna love this. Tommy Tiernan as voices a charcther.
Let's hope this will get a nod at the Golden Globes and Oscar's 2021.
