You'll either get the gag, or wonder why you wasted your time.
So many tropes, so many movies ripped off, about the only shows not given a serve are Quark (from the '70's kids), B5, HHGTTG, The 100 and Red Dwarf.
Although the script reads like one of Dave Lister's post curry and beer nightmares, it's really just the actors throwing shade at how too many franchises take themselves way too seriously.
If you know what HHGTTG stands for, or are a Red Dwarf fan, you'll probably enjoy this, if you're only here for Ms Masterson, go watch R.U.R. if you haven't already.
If you want 'serious' SciFi, go watch The Expanse.
