It's been quite some time since I watched this. Hot Tub Time Machine is a return to the 80's via a hot tub. I would not put this on par with something like The Breakfast Club, but I did enjoy this quite a bit. Three old friends ,plus one young dude go on a skiing trip to relieve the glory days of the 80's literally. Me, growing up in the 80's I could relate to this. John Cusack gives this pretty much instant credibility and is great as the lead. The support cast did good too and each represents a different social class, which makes them unlikely friends, but represents the decade pretty well. Also, Chevy Chase and Krispin Glover also appears in small roles. Hot Tub Time Machine is funny and an enjoyable comedy.
