This movie tries to show us humand depths. It also was something I would call mockumentary, but I saw that this particulary was called hoaxumentary. Because it pretends to be a documentary when it isn't. I thought mockumentary covered that, but I won't get into sementics over that.
It's a nice try but this never reaches "Funny games" levels of quality. It's intentions are the same, even if in another category. Not found footage, not real, but an interesting experiment overall I'd say. It's the one idea that tries to carry a whole movie and the atention of the viewer.
