Everyone needs to watch it

The Innocence Project which turns over false convictions does a great job, but as they say themselves, the number of cases they can handle just scrapes the surface. You get all these satellite (supposedly) reality TV shows glorifying police, but the general public doesnt have a clue how policing really works on the ground. I dont think its different anywhere across the world, the problems shown here exist everywhere, exacerbate by recent economic down turns. Justice is money, if you have money you can buy yourself a slice of it. Its easy to say, "look how corrupt the Americans are", but infact they are the most self critical. I dont think a documentary series like this would stand a chance of seeing the light of day in Scotland. The biggest change in policing, across the board, has been DNA testing, which has evolved throughout the nineties to the present day, with ever increasing accuracy. This has superseded many conventional methods which largely relied on circumstantial evidence and hermetics like bite marks. Was excited to see Charlotte Kaufman's involvement with the show. Its powerful stuff and youd have to be pretty cold hearted if it doesnt pull a few heart strings for you.
