Review of True Believer

True Believer (1989)
5/10
80's flick about corrupt cops against an underdog lawyer. Actor James Woods is worth watching but the story looses credibility near the end.

Typical 80's flick about corrupt cops against a good underdog lawyer. If for nothing else it is worth seeing James Woods b*tching all the time, playing an underdog, good lawyer, who takes on the big (and corrupt) police department.

Any bad? It is certainly NOT a great movie, because the story is loosing credibility near the end, loosing credibility big time, such a shame...

Suited for who? Perhaps suited for James Woods fans or for those who like to see an AVERAGE, yet not terrible 80s cop/lawyer story. There are better movies out there though and I would not recommend this movie to any of my friends or family...
