Whatever ending can't save this film

Warning: Spoilers
I'm interested in taboo relationship film, while most of them are not as good as I expected, but this one is way too bad... I should've trusted the ratings. This is my second time to write a review on IMDb (actually it's the third time, but somehow my second review on a short film doesn't show up), just to let other viewers know a bit more about this movie.

To me, it is a complete waste of time. I wouldn't call it a bad movie, but it is so shallow. The description (and probably also the director's intention) says it's a sister/brother incest film, something like that, but the film didn't involve too much about it.

I would say it's more like a movie about middle/lower class people who try to get through their days. The director seems like he/she wants to talk about many things, but ends up talking about NOTHING. Well, the only thing I feel from the movie is that women are not treated well there. I have been to Poland myself, and I know that in Eastern Europe women have lower status than men, though it wasn't that obvious as the movie showed.

Let me summarize this movie: the older sister has an unfaithful boyfriend who use her to have higher social status (ask her to sleep with an important guy), and she doesn't care much about her half-brother who seems to have a crush on her, but she couldn't afford the rent and doesn't want to be alone, so she asked him to stay. The younger brother has feelings how his sister, but the movie didn't show that very ambiguously. A Gypsis girl liked that younger brother and wanted to marry him, she even helped him to get the money to pay for the rent, but he didn't care about her, so she married her dad's friend who is a doctor and would be able to fulfill her dream to become a doctor. The younger brother beat a fat guy (sorry I don't know who he is) after the fat guy told him some people set the fire on the Gypsis girl's wedding. In the end, the siblings sit in the dining room, silently. I don't even know what this ending means. The Gypsis girl's storyline is the best one in the film, it's a bit funny and naive, I feel a bit sad to see that she lost her hopes (to love and even the fate) in the end.

I don't think this movie worth you to waste your time watching. But if you want to see the cruel part of middle/low class life, maybe you can give this movie a chance, though I think there are many other better options.

I hope this helps. Even though it doesn't help, I hope you don't press the dislike button 🙏🏻
