Burt and Ernie look so different. What happened to them?
Burt Simpson (Dabney Coleman), that's BURT Simpson not BART Simpson, and Ernie Dills (Matt Frewer) are partners on the Seattle Police Department---yes, Burt and Ernie. Burt is an uptight divorcee with a child and eight days from retirement. He wants to make sure that he plays it extremely safe until he retires, until a mix-up happens at the hospital. A bus driver afraid of failing his urine test swapped the name on his blood and urine samples with Burt's. Burt is told he has a terminal illness that will kill him in a matter of weeks, but if he can be killed in the line of duty then he can get a $350,000 pay out from the Seattle P.D. That leads Burt to some very risky behavior.
I don't have much to say about this movie. It didn't move me either way. I guess I would say that it was alright.
