Men of War (1994)
6/10
Pretty good, 80's and 90's action fans should enjoy this.

Not bad, i enjoyed it. I feel like Dolph Lundgren is pretty underrated. He's a decent actor, looks confident in action scenes and he's a good looking dude. You just have to do some research when looking to watch his back catalogue because it can be a bit patchy. There seems to be some kind of stigma surrounding macho action movies and their stars which i don't understand other than the fact that so called "sophisticated" movie critics are fragile white knight idiots.

Anyway..... Men Of War has the look of a big budget theatrical release with it's beautiful Thai backdrops and it has a great supporting cast with actors you will recognise if you're a fan of 80's and 90's genre movies. The acting is decent throughout, there's some legit funny scenes and the action is pretty good if a little shakey and confusing at times and the story has some surprisingly touching moments. The last half hour is complete mayhem and there were a few moments which made me say "Oh damn!" out loud. The bad guy is also played by the late Trevor Goddard who you might recognise as Kano from Mortal Kombat. He overacts every time he's on screen which i found very entertaining. This is a pretty good movie worth at least one watch if you enjoy 80's and 90's action movies but not something i would go out of my way to watch again. I've seen much worse though.
