6 Days (not sure why it wasn't called Six Days) is sort of a by-the-book linear account of the Iranian Embassy siege that occurred in London in 1980, 26 years before the invention of Twitter. One thread amongst the reviews is the criticism of Australian actress Abbie Cornish's depiction of BBC reporter Kate Adie. If 6 Days is ever rebooted, perhaps Geri Halliwell could play Kate, which could give Geri gravitis to pursue more serious roles. A reboot could also feature Tony Shalhoub as a Farsi interpreter working for the SAS (sort of like a consultant like Monk I guess). Vin Diesel could play one of the Iranian hostage-takers. The SAS team could comprise some of the Harry Potter cast. BAFTA noms await at the very least.
