Just became a member so I can post a review Messiah. Finished watching the whole series in 2 days and it is utterly brilliant. The cast are just fantastic, almost every character is brilliantly played and very believable. The story grips from the start and some of the scenes, especially when the Messiah is in chains and being interrogated, are up there in intensity with the best scenes from Breaking Bad.
The production and location shooting, not sure how they got permission to film at the Dome of Rock in Jerusalem, adds to the intense realism. I was really impressed that it took no sides between Israelis and Palestinians but showed both to be flawed in their own ways as well showing some background and context to the whole political situation in that region.
Would definitely recommend.
