3/10
A waste of time, unfortunately.

I really liked the cinematography in this. I liked the soundtrack, for the most part, too. The acting wasn't half bad. The effects weren't the greatest but I found that easy to get past.

So why didn't I like this movie?

The script and the pacing, I think. I guess that comes down to writing and editing. The final product just didn't work.

It was unimaginative, ripping off scenes from just about every other zombie movie out there without even doing them as well as the originals. If you're going to copy, at least do it well.

It's supposed to be a comedy but it wasn't funny. I think the actors were definitely capable of comedy but they weren't given anything funny to say or do, for the most part. There was one scene that made me laugh and it didn't really involve the main leads (it had to do with the father of the woman they meet in the church).

Worst of all, it was just plain boring. There are several scenes that involve watching the main characters argue, but it's never an argument that we, as viewers, are invested in or care about, and they go on for way too long.

The best of these kinds of movies look and feel like passion projects. This looked like it was work. It didn't look like the actors had much fun making this, and the movie just wasn't fun to watch, in my opinion.

There is obvious talent here. It's too bad that it doesn't deliver.
