Some plausibility please

I'm already suspending disbelief with Hallmark characters falling in love in 2 day and getting married 4...I'm good with that. But the least you can do is put some reality into the rest of the story. I had to fast forward through all the probate stuff because it was so incredibly inaccurate. Movie lasted about 30 min. Shame because I really like the series.
