Reading the other reviews, it looks like this movie only aired very late at night. That's when I caught it too. This was on NETWORK television, so it was edited for tv AND had commercials.
Despite all that I couldn't quite believe what I was seeing. Couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Priestly completely caught me off guard and turned in a performance which, in hindsight, well even at the time I would have to say he performed way over his head. It was just jaw-dropping. Mesmerizing. I was totally engaged from start to finish.
I can't believe it was received so poorly....
