A very pleasant aura was made with this film- partly because you can feel the 90's Los Angeles just wash you out...and of course the story, range of characters and Dana Carveys comedic naturalism as his character- which was an interesting choice since he's more of a stand up/ sketch comedy kind of guy (especially during this time) BUT it seemed so easy to him.
The significance of this movie is its subtle, simple, comedic moments;
I'm so used to movies trying to press something onto us that this was an easy experience that left a lax-full, "clean-slate" energy
AND AGAIN Dana carvey is just a solid spirit who mended together some classic scenes.
Technically speaking I loved the coloration on this picture and the pleasant scoring. Both those enhanced the view of this easy Los Angeles setting- A Harmonious LA.
