I remember watching this before and I couldn't even get that far. The big problem is Johnathon Taylor Thomas' character's unlikable throughout the movie. Even towards the end he shows very little signs of changing for the better. The plot of the story is Jake trying to come home in time to get a car his estranged father (Gary Cole) promised him. It doesn't help that he's stranded in the middle of the desert wearing a Santa costume that was glued on him. Sounds like an interesting idea but the way it's done is just boring. There're only a few funny jokes in this movie the rest fall flat. I'd say skip it. You won't feel jolly after seeing this movie.
