Great actors, extremely bad pacing and nearly nonexistent plot.

I was initially excited to have found a movie starring Susan Sarandon and Ralph Fiennes, as they both are amazing in their work; their performances can really make a film shine. Bernard and Doris, however, was a complete failure for the following two reasons: horrible pacing, plus the lack of an interesting plot. Despite the solid acting, it was hard to watch in one go because of how slow and dull it was as a whole.
