I've been a big fan of this character since Knowing Me Knowing You and have had the pleasure of watching Partridge evolve over the past 25 years, as such I was excited to watch the first episode of This Time. Within just a couple of minutes my sides were splitting at the Fluck/Clunt mishap, the usual Partridge habit of butting into the conversation about Seals, the failed Social Media wall, Tim Key was excellent as ever as Sidekick Simon, totally out of his depth on national TV, then we got onto the subject of Hygiene and Alan was so impressively awkward, whenever he got up and walked about the studio it was always for a fews secs longer than was comfortable. It was good to see Coogan and the Gibbons Brothers combine Knowing ME Knowing You with I'm Alan Partridge and some Scissored Isle, the combination was a success for me.
