The premise was so promising, finally a good series about the USAF Project Blue Book, last serialized with the "UFO" series in the 60s. I addition to the insufferable commercial breaks the producers felled into the tired old Hollywood trick of the side story as filler material. Hynek's wife had nothing to do with his work and is not even a footnote in the Blue Book project. The little "spy" friend with lesbian overtones did not escape me, this fictitious gimmick will be used as filler material for hours to come.
