I liked the premise of the movie and the visuals. There were several scenes that were well done, but too many things were thrown into the movie to destroy its credibility.
If they were far enough north to see northern lights, we have seen them throughout the movie. Total eclipse? Why doesn't the boy die from internal injuries? How does Chuck the wolf have puppies? The boy finds out that a bow and arrow is superior to the speer. Why don't the hunters have those at the end for the next hunt? Etc.
