This show is what I tend to call a slow burn or a simmer show.... It's really enjoyable to watch these storylines steadily and slowly unfold, and it's telling a story that we don't often see on tv, really. Glee was wonderful for what it was, but it was a campy pop fest... this is gritty, with some real life issues that it brings up. I highly recommend it and hope it gets renewed for a second season.
