You can't fake surgery. That's what got me hooked in this show.
Some of the scenes are scripted but what Mama June went through was grueling. I'm not a fan of reality tv, this is the first one I've watched. Yes, the people at times may not act like the average person. But I admire June's motivation to lose the weight and change her life.
I do wonder if Alana attends school and has friends. She is always around the adults, often times taking on their drama. I do hope that is addressed.
