This show is like reading a book. Not fast, not slow, just reading speed.
It is quite impressive to see how the characters develop slowly, and keep you interested. Nothing in the story is far-fetched, nothing is impossible, and it all holds up, which makes it somewhat realistic.
The family is very standard, a successful woman, a screw-up, a loner and of course a nasty mom. The story basically is finding about who the Silver Bell killer is.
The acting is great, the characters deep and diverse. Yes, to me, this is one of the better shows out there. And then there were non, also a great show of similar quality.
The problem with this show is, I think 1 season will suffice. Like Lost, like Prison Break and many other shows they drag the story out. I sincerely hope they'll simply see this as a mini-series or a bloody long movie, it would be awful if it started slipping (I have not seen the finale, so I do not know)
