I really liked the first season. The characters, plot, mythology, everything seemed pretty well written and well thought out. I was looking forward to season two....
Season two started alright, but then as the season progressed, the storyline became moronic. By the end of season two I felt like I had been robbed. The characters were acting out of character (Carlos letting enemies walk away at the well, Ranger Gonzales standing around holding his gun in Jackknife Jeds while the customers were becoming the main course, and the list goes on and on) there were times when you could not figure out a characters action, or inaction at all.
My rating is giving the first season an 8, the first six episodes of season 2 a 7, and the last episodes of season 2 a 1. Instead of hiring Demi Lovato, They should have hired a writer or two.
Edit: In looking at the other reviews for the show, I noticed that a lot of the good reviews came before Season 2, that makes sense.
