Unforgettable short film about homelessness
11 March 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I watched To the Moon, Alice many years ago and to this day I'll never forget the despair and humiliation experienced by the homeless family. Very compelling this was.

Alice and her family are homeless and they eke out a living wherever possible. One humiliating moment was when she was discouraged from being in a department store, but later on Alice manages to ironically get a job with them when she's all scrubbed up.

The family manage to find a home on a TV set until they are caught.

One scene that was a bit uneasy. The TV presenter made a snide racist remark to one of the audience characters of Asian descent. I wish that audience member was credited in IMDb as he deserves to be recognized.
