Before We Go (I) (2014)

Warning: Spoilers
I hadn't too high of an expectation for the film; I like Evans as an actor and seeing his range in non-action-hero-type movies (ie: Puncture, Snowpiercer) but sometimes actors fall flat when doing films out of their niche. This is not one of those.

The storyline is interesting, the director and actors do a great job portraying their POV without the film being omniscient. They let you know just enough that you're involved without being in their heads.

I normally don't like the films whose endings are open like this - the ones that intentionally leave you hanging - but this story couldn't have ended any other way. I found myself wishing she'd stay at least long enough to know how his big day went but knowing she had to go sort things out. And the card at the ending?!? I can make all sorts of guesses as to what it said, but in my heart I probably know.

Well done and well worth the time to watch.
