The Manny (2015)
5/10
Pretty neat

Not a big fan of Schweighöfer myself, but I have to admit, this did kind of work. That is of course if you can overlook a lot of clichés and the very obvious "money and progress" is bad attitude of it. But at its heart it relies on family issues and problems handling working and raising children. So while we do not have a really strong female character (apart from a girl/kid) in this, it kind of helps people understand the struggle women are facing (especially those working and trying to keep the family together).

The movie is obviously predictable and even love interests can be seen a mile away. But it still is fun to watch overall, mainly because the titular "Nanny" character. While he's not able to do many things right, it turns out he's able to do the right things ... right. Again predictable, but with a heart that might make you help enjoy this (also kid actors are solid).
