We saw this series just recently titled Public Morals, so this isn't new it just stars Jennifer Lopez and Ray Liotta instead of Edward Burns and Michael Rapaport. Public Morals got canceled but Shades of Blue has Lopez so we will have to see if the public will watch to see her. No complaints about the acting here--everyone is top notch--and the action is gritty enough such that you felt you need to brush your teeth after the first episode was over. But we have seen this before and do we need another series that suggests the police are corrupt and we need the FBI to plant a mole. So will we watch to see Liotta, Matt Wozniak, figure out it's Lopez, Harlee Santos; and how many people will be mistakenly taken out before only Lopez is left. Forgot the whole idea tilts on Lopez as a single parent.
