Barney Miller has been unfairly undervalued.
The Comedy series is unique, gritty, and has a wonderful dry humor. This is one of the best sitcoms there is! I totally enjoy the quirky characters that enter the scene of the 12th Precinct.
The cast is fabulous:
Barney Miller - intelligent, thoughtful and incredulous toward the weird happenings that occur in the squad room.
Harris - conceited, proud, and almost insubordinate at times when certain aspects of being a detective clashes with his world view.
Yemana - A quiet but humorous detective with a gambling addiction and a person who can make you a wicked cup of coffee.
Wojo - A somewhat dimwitted detective with a heart of cold if you look inside of him deep enough.
Dietrich - Let's call him an intellectual smarty pants.
Levitt - Mr. Kiss Butt.
