I don't see it.

Warning: Spoilers
"Dog Altogether" is a British 16.5-minute short film from 8 years ago and I guess sometimes it is true that names win awards, at least in terms of BAFTA. Paddy Considine as writer and director, Peter Mullan and Olivia Colman as actors was too sweet for them that year and this one won the short film BAFTA. I personally believe "Soft" would have been a better winner. I cannot really see greatness in "Dog Altogether". It is a decent character study as we follow a man with serious anger issues that he lets out on everybody he encounters, be it his own animal or random strangers at a pub. This is basically it. neither these scenes did a lot for me nor did the scene with Colman towards the end. This film had no real emotional impact on me and I am not sure how to feel about the ending. Did he get what he deserve? Is he better now? This film really tells nothing. I thought this was a disappointing movie. Cannot say this got me interested in watching "Tyrannosaur", a spin-off from this successful short film. Not recommended.
