The One With Star Wars...
20 November 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I absolutely love this episode. I saw it before I ever saw any of the Star Wars movies, so I didn't get all of the references, and inside jokes, but I still found it funny. After seeing the Star Wars movies, I found it even funnier, because I had just seen what it was really like. Some may find it insulting because they're bagging on their favorite movie, but I embrace things like this.

In this episode, the Griffin family are sitting at home, watching TV, when the power goes out. Peter decides to tell the tale of Star Wars. Everyone from the family, and other Family Guy cast members, play the roles of infamous characters, such as Han Solo, Leia, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. They take the scenes from Star Wars, recreate them in a similar manner, and then add other hilarious moments to make it even funnier.

Fun Fact: Among the aliens in the cantina scene are Bender from Futurama, and Roger from American Dad.

Fun Fact: At the end, Chris, and Peter argue about an episode of Robot Chicken, which Seth Green (who voices Chris) is the co-creator, producer, and director.

Fun Fact: When Han Solo (Peter) disguises himself as a Storm Trooper, he still wears his glasses on the outside of his helmet.

Favorite spoof-character: Stewie Griffin as Darth Vader.

Best part of the episode: The thing with the couch.

Overall, I give this episode a 9 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Amazing.
