Review of Stalker

Stalker (2014–2015)
A typical police drama where STALKING is confused with SERIAL KILLING.
6 October 2014
This is one of the newest additions in police dramas for 2014. It is about a (fictional as far as I know) police unit who deals with stalkers and their victims.

It stars Maggie Q, an actress known for her credits in action movies and TV-series and Dylan McDermott, in two pretty standard roles for such series.

The first thing you might wonder by watching this series is if it really describes stalking i.e. the unwanted and even obsessive attention by an individual for another person.

In this series, so far, the stalkers can't be really distinguished from serial killers or other paranoid criminals.

I only imagined stalkers as shady persons hiding in the bushes, watching silhouettes behind a curtain in a bedroom! Taking the occasional photo maybe.

But this series goes to the realm of schizophrenia and mad killing sprees and reckless suicidal behavior, far far away from the regular harassment a stalker might cause.

Anyway. If you pass how truthful is this with its title, you get a standard police drama. Nothing impressive, nothing to actually hate.

Overall: There are more interesting shows out there, but if you have the time check it out and decide.
