Joy Ride 3: Road Kill (2014 Video)
A Disappointment

Warning: Spoilers
This movie was a huge disappointment for me. I am a huge fan of the first two films. They had suspense, humor, and kept you on the edge of your seat almost throughout. This one only had a few of those moments. There were a ton of flaws in this movie, and I'm about to mention a couple, so, spoiler alert.

The acting: The acting wasn't very good at all. I'd say the worst acting came from Jewel (Played by Kirsten Prout). Her screams were not convincing, especially near "the end". Almost none of the characters were likable. I was almost hoping Rusty Nail would kill them all off.

Rusty Nail: Who the hell was that guy? The guy in this movie was NOT Rusty Nail. Rusty Nail has a deep, scary, and threatening voice. Ken Kirzinger did not sound like that at all. Another flaw about him; they showed his face. Constantly. Rusty Nail has always been hiding in the shadows. Sure, you can kinda sorta see his face in the other two, but only quick glimpses.

The only things I can think of that I liked about this movie, were the atmosphere, and the death scenes. Yes, some of the deaths could make a person cringe, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

If you're hoping for mindless violence/gore, this movie is for you. If you're hoping to see a movie with the charm of the original, avoid. 5/10.
