I was nearly speechless, after i had forced my self to finish this movie.
At least in many of his other movies, i could complete them because i could at least enjoy some of the effects and action...
Nope, not in this one...
Sure the quality of image is good, the actors are great... but the way it's written, it's been cut, and put together, just ends up, not being the movie it shows on the poster.
It's like he chose to spend 1+ hour on the first act, and then hurry through the rest of the acts to complete this movie. The movie is soooo overdone and wrongly cut, i would use this as one of the worst examples on how to setup and cut a movie. I mean it's sooo repetitive. The first hour, keeps telling us the same thing, over and over and over again.
I have no idea how it has gotten such high reviews here, as it does not deserve it. And i can only give it a 3 out of 10, because of the quality images and the acting...
If they had made a C list director like Lloyd Kauffmann direct this, it would have been 10 times better...
