Excellent, superb, fantastic....film-making at its best. Mani Ratnam proves why he is such a celebrated director down-south. Though i cannot understand Tamil language (i watched the movie with English subtitles) i was in awe of the story, the performances, the music, the cinematography (Santosh Sivan), and overall everything attached to this film. It is a simple story of two friends turning foes, a story of extra-ordinary achievements of two young friends who achieved everything they dreamt of by their intelligence and hard work. The lead actors were amazing, so were the actresses. All in all, a thoroughly entertaining movie. Will recommend this as a must watch movie.
