zombie story with a twist
6 October 2011
Jake Kennedy's first attempt to make a movie was okay. It's a zombie flick and we have seen a million but there's something else going on with the zombies. Being your first flick you really have to go for something special but you've been limited by the amount of budget you have to make it. It's fine to see that Jake spared it for the last part to add some gory shots. It starts of pretty well but drop a bit once they are all together in the bunker. It takes a while before things go wrong, you know, getting to know the characters and of course they have trouble with each other but they can work it out and start to attack the zombies. The twist at the end is a bit laughable and a bit of let down for me. You will see but you have to wait until the last minutes. There's a small bit of nudity in it but not to mention. To conclude, you can easily see that it was low budget (one place were the shot the flick) but positive was that most money went to the effects (no CGI). Great twist about the zombies but the conclusion was a joke. But if you can catch it than I recommend it for you.
