This has a rating of 3 stars on IMDb. Wow, this does not actually deserve that. I would call this a wasted potential movie. There are many things like a super-powered cross in the movie that could make the movie an enjoyable action flick but no, these things are briefly mentioned and characters jump in and out in the movie. Watching this seems like a watching a group of students with no budget filming a talky movie filled with unintentionally funny acting.
The story: To tell the truth, I have no idea what is it about. The story is nothing. Fine, even if there is no story, I would at least expect action and humour. This movie being in the action genre barely has action and when it comes to the action, it is tepid. I was hardly amused by it. The humour is the whole movie with cast giving out bad performances. And they except the girl playing Sunshine don't even provide eye-candy. I can only comment on Michael Clarke Duncan and Vinnie Jones. Michael's performance is the best in the movie and Vinnie is just trying too hard. Danny Trejo being involved in the movie is priceless, he just appears and says a line in one scene for no reason. The rest of the movie is blah blah. It is actually kind of boring if not for the bad acting.
Overall: This is not one of the worst Direct-To-DVD movie I have seen but it is close. It cannot deliver even one single thing. Bad acting, action and story. It is only mildly entertaining because I actually wanted to laugh at their bad performances. Another thing bad about this movie is that it is long. Yawn. Had they cut out some unnecessary scenes, I think it would be easier to watch.
