this new Grudge instalment is my worst of the three but still holds on and is enjoyable but i really do hope that this is the last one. if they make another i really do think i'll hate it. you can always see when a film series should finish by seeing how many well known actors are not in the new ones and there not replaced by other big actors. now i know i will be ridiculed for this but my favourite grudge film is the second one. i actually think the second has an epic horror movie feel due to its three long stories that are happening in three different times and different places.
the Grudge 3 basically starts in a mental institute because Jake (survivor of the second film) has been committed there. he is extremely scared because he knows that hes going to be the next victim by Kayako and Toshio. the film is set in the same hotel as the second instalment and the evil is still there. the film gives off some pretty good shocks and is still pretty fresh and interesting but you can see by watching this that this has to be the last one in order to keep the films dignity. this is a good instalment but doesn't come close to the first two movies............. 7/10..............j.d Seaton
