Yash Chopra took a break with their romance and since their flop VIJAY(1988) and perhaps DARR(1993) which was a hit they return with an action film

The film is a remake of FAST AND THE FURIOUS and it's nothing but just about bike chases and the cop versus thief game

The film starts okay, with a long stupid romance scene between Abhishek and Rimii Sen Then we shift to Uday Chopra a useless thief who cries to his mummy there are some funny scenes here which are badly used in D:2

back to DHOOM

The highlight is the chases which are quite engrossing and the scenes involving Abhishek and John

The entire game plan of putting Uday in John's gang is well handled but the reason Uday is chosen is not explained, Because he never drives a bike afterwards Also his romance with Esha is cute but her change of heart is too sudden The climax is too far fetched

Direction by Sanjay Gadhvi is good Music is good

Abhishek tries hard, though he reminds of his dad a lot and does a pale imitation in the drunk act Uday is quite funny in many parts John is too cool in his part, the role skyrocketed his fan base Esha looks bad and her act is bad Rimmii is good
