Warning: Spoilers
Michel Gondry the director of the splendid 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' has produced another highly original film, this time in the form of 'Be Kind Rewind'.

It is a cheery and entertaining watch and I had a good giggle at the frolics of Black and Mos Def as they attempted to re-create Ghostbusters. Although the film struggles at times to keep the momentum which it ascertains early on, it does enough to keep you to its pleasing conclusion.

This is an original idea with a simple plot and it works very well. It is a shame that Gondry did not give more running time for Black and Mos Def to act-out further films, and that he did not go for more commercial material. Nevertheless, a very good camera-pan which incorporates many Black/Mos Def re-enactments of other films, which obviously was more efficient for the films running time is well-crafted.

Decently acted and well directed - Thumbs up!
