Lie with Me (2005)
6/10
Realistic and gritty
13 December 2006
Canadian art-house flick LIE WITH ME tells the tale of a sexually frustrated woman who can't connect with her sexual partners. Meaning she has no feeling for them and has never achieved a major orgasm. Finally, she runs into a hunk at a favorite club, and not only connects with him and has a mind-blowing orgasm, she falls in love. The pair love, fight, break up, get back together, fight some more, and so on. The sex scenes are steamy and realistic, so beware. You wouldn't want to watch this with your mom. And your mom definitely won't want to watch it with you. The gal is not a bad actress, although way too skinny. The guy is a major hunk, dark and brooding, and almost every gal's dream of true love. Based on a book and probably shot on a dime, but hey, it sure beats a sequel to FRANKENFISH.
