I had the great fortune of seeing Henry Rollins speak at the Newport in Columbus, Ohio on his birthday a couple years back. This DVD was on sale then and it is just as witty, intelligent, thought provoking, animated, and hilarious as his live performance!
I have several of his spoken word CD's and they are just as good. However, the DVD lets you *see* Henry, which is definitely an added bonus for me!
The other DVD from the 'Shock & Awe' tour is on its way to my house. After seeing the performance live, I'm anxious to see the DVD so I can relive all the angst and frustration he lays out.
Henry tells a great story and needs to give himself more credit. The man has done it all and been through just about all of it too.
