OK I have seen a lot of up and down reviews on this film and in my opinion some of the votes are unfounded. This is your run of the mill disaster flick and a fairly good one at that. so to vote less than 7, maybe you didn't have a clue what you were about to watch in the first place. I mean if you watch "The Shawshank Redemption", "Rocky" and then "Terminator" you don't tally up a general scoring for all, they are totally different films.
So the acting is as required in such a film and the special effects are very good. The end is fairly predictable but you give me 3 films that ain't. With all of that mentioned it is a good DISASTER film which takes you in some scenes back to "Tower of Inferno" and those sort of classics we all loved a few years back and i repeat we weren't looking for Oscar nominations after those either, just a good d*** DISASTER movie.
