Not one dull moment in this exhilarating and uplifting film.

I am no movie maniac, but this is one of the rare films I have seen more than four or five times and I keep finding new amazingly funny things in it. I think it gives many hints of the true Neapolitan essence. Wonderful job of Troisi as writer, director and actor (and obviously much better than "Il Postino'). The supporting actors are also fantastic, especially Lello Arena, but also Giuliana De Sio and Vincenzo's (Troisi's) mother. I am not sure there is an English subtitled version, and the original version may be difficult to understand if you are not used to Neapolitan accent (and dialect or at least expressions) but if you have a chance, go for it, it is surely worth while. A truly excellent film.
