metal gear solid 3 is by far the best metal gear solid for these reasons.
1 you've got to camouflage yourself to blend in 2 you've got to eat food to help your performance 3 you actually suffer from recoil on this game and the silencers where off after a couple of rounds. i could go on but it would ruin the entire game completely metal gear 3 is also just like watching a movie there are times when for a good 20 minutes the equivalent to a simpsons episode you are just watching a cut scene. this game surpasses the second mainly cause you play snake not raiden (however doesn't mean to say he doesn't play a role) however this isn't for the devil may cry kind of person patience and stealth is the key. this game is an example of why games are better than movies it's more movie than action in my opinion if you do know your way round. I've given it 10 out of 10 because its one of a few games i wont be giving back to the shop. this game is a bit like the movie saw you don't't understand what the hell is going on until the very end during the debriefing when all is revealed and believe me its what u least suspect.
