I remember this movie primarily because I responded to a rather interesting advertising gimmick. I noticed a personal ad in the local Austin TX newspaper offering a buck off with the ad. I thought that was weird enough at the time to give it a shot.
What I remember about it was that it definitely was not a slick Hollywood product, which to me was refreshing. It's been 25 years at least since I've seen it though, and it never seems to show up on TV where they show the same ten or fifteen movies all the time, so I can't offer any great details.
