Fairly amusing storyline, ish. Glad I didn't pay to see this, the plot is paper thin, and really predictable. I wouldn't recommend it even if you love Newcastle, its a bit tragic really..... The acting isn't bad, but its nothing to rave about either. As has probably been mentioned before, there are dubious holes in the plot (ie the player doesn't have a visa etc, he makes it into the team very quickly, chances of being spotted?!) and these make it frustrating at times, on top of the fact It feels like it has been written in about 10minutes, by a ten year old. From beginning to end its fairly cheesy, which is then topped off with a really weak ending, two of my friends left half an hour before the end as we had already worked out what would happen... I stayed, thinking they might have had a twist, but no! If you want to kill a bit of time, rather than wiping your ass, I suggest watching this film, for those of you who want to watch something worth your while, don't bother!
