Kimi wa petto (2003– )
Kawaaaai!

A very successful and lonely woman, Sumire Iwaya, takes in a 20 year old modern dancer, Goda Takeshi, to live with her as her "pet". Sumire is portrayed as very sophisticated and refined woman with no luck in men because she can't show her feelings. This is GREATLY done by actress Koyuki! She's such a lonely soul. When Sumire takes in Goda Takeshi, whom she calls "Momo" after the dog she owned as a child, she opens up to him and they form a very close relationship but only as a pet and owner. At the same time she struggles to open up and be herself with her dream man, Hasumi, and not to loose him to her mean co-worker (Fukushima). "Momo" meanwhile develops all the more intimate feelings for Sumire but she constantly push him away. This drama is truly brilliant...I loved every minute of it! It's funny, sad and sympathetic. You can really feel the emotions that lies beneath it all. I'm crazy about Matsumoto Jun and what a great job he did with the "Momo" character. He's so cute, funny and sweet but there's something more.... Just watch it, you'll love it and will, just like me, watch it over and over and over again!!
